The sale of a home was no simple feat, in the pre-pandemic period. So, just imagine having to unexpectedly sell your home in the midst of the pandemic and lockdown restrictions in February 2021 because your life circumstances change. Moving, packing and prepping your home in hopes that you receive the best value possible is undeniably an emotional process. In addition to selling my home, I needed a brokerage that would be able to support me with finding a condominium apartment for rent. I needed a healing and rejuvenating space. The Bespoke Real Estate Team was best suited for the job, and I knew it. I approached Theepan Bala regarding the sale of my house, and Majury regarding the search for perfect condo rental.

When you’re selling a detached Scarborough Bungalow, with a walk-out basement that leads to a beautiful ravine lot; you want to make sure that you’re working with someone who specializes in homes in the area. Not to mention, I wanted someone who understood how to highlight the strengths of the property. In a fluctuating Toronto market, honesty and transparency is key to the optimization of the property sale. Ensuring that your agent has a clear perspective is critical to the success and negotiation of the sale. That’s why I chose Theepan. He has a keen understanding of the pulse of the market, a professional approach at all times and the most calming demeanor in the most stressful of situations. In the midst of all of this chaos, Majury was relentless in the pursuit of supporting me with finding the right condo. Showing after showing and elevator ride after elevator ride. Up and down the condominiums we went. Her patience and positive approach will leave you awestruck. When you’re forced to reckon with lock box mix-ups, condescending security guards, and driving through 5pm after-work traffic to make it to your appointment on time; you want someone who can sift through the noise and truly deliver a new home that fits all of your needs; even if it’s a rental. I had so many needs ranging from a den for work and meditation, a kitchen that was functional and a view that would be breath-taking. Our first offer didn’t quite work out the way we wanted it to, which obviously resulted in a sense of disappointment. Majury didn’t falter; she pushed full steam ahead knowing the sense of defeat that I was feeling. She found the perfect property, delivered on every single demand! Even then, she wasn’t done. She handled negotiations with my landlord’s agent seamlessly. It was quite an experience to witness, because throughout the process, I truly felt like I had an advocate in my corner. For someone like me, whose career is built on community advocacy, I can’t begin to tell you what it felt like. She is the perfect intermediary, and will present your case with her best foot forward. It’s been more than a year since my husband and I became homeowners. There is no doubt Theepan and his team are very knowledgeable about real estate. Both Theepan and Navi were easy going and very patient during the experience of purchasing our home. However, we weren’t thrilled about the process after closing the property. We felt an effort wasn’t made to maintain a lasting client-realtor relationship. It was kind of an abrupt end with some attempts. Honestly, a simple thank you note would of suffice. This was the only element lacking, and would have tied in to make the experience great.
